Circle of Support
Welcome, dear ones.
We are living in a time of profound conflict and upheaval.
Political polarization has fractured families, workplaces, and communities.
Racism, sexism, and gender-based harm continue to cause deep wounds.
Climate disasters — like the recent hurricane here in the High Country — reveal how fragile our systems are, and how little real support comes from government when communities are in crisis.
People are hurting. And too often, the systems we look to for care and repair are either absent or broken.
This is where my work — and our community projects like Moya and the wider Antara Network — step in.
At Moya, we are weaving:
Conflict resolution and restorative justice circles — so we can face harm and difference together across race, politics, and gender.
Embodied practices (movement, ritual, InterPlay, Azul) and contemplative traditions (mindfulness, meditation, land-based silence) — to help regulate the nervous system, release trauma, and ground us in presence.
Healing and grief circles — offered freely, so cost is never a barrier.
Community resilience work — preparing Moya to serve as a hub of care in times of crisis or disaster, when people need a place to gather, grieve, and rebuild.
Intergenerational accessibility — making sure younger folks, many working 2–3 jobs just to pay rent in Boone (where even shared apartments cost $900+), can participate without being turned away by cost.
Through Antara, this work connects to a larger vision of intergenerational, multicultural healing and land-based justice.
Why I’m asking for support
Right now, I still charge for 1:1 ancestor and healing sessions, as well as classes. That has been the only way I could sustain myself. But this model creates barriers for the very people who most need this work.
My vision is to move away from charging-per-session and toward a model where the community sustains me directly, so these practices can remain in the commons: accessible to anyone, not just those who can afford them.
That’s why I created this Circle of Support.
This Circle sustains me directly so I can:
Keep offering healing circles and community rituals freely.
Reduce reliance on charging for 1:1 and class-based models.
Tend to the embodied, contemplative, and land-based practices that make this work a refuge for people.
Strengthen Moya as a resilience hub for healing, justice, and disaster response in the High Country.
Keep building toward intentional community living — so that we don’t just respond to crisis, but imagine and practice new ways of life beyond the isolation and scarcity of this system.
How you can support
🌱 Monthly donations
Join as a monthly sustainer at any level that feels right for you. This is the most direct way to keep the work alive and accessible.
🌸 Paying premium for sessions
If you’re someone with more financial capacity, you can choose to pay above the base rate for 1:1 sessions or classes. This helps subsidize access for younger folks and those with fewer resources.
🌿 Donor Circle Gatherings
As part of this Circle, I’ll be offering occasional Donor Healing Gatherings — spaces where supporters can receive healing themselves while sustaining this work for others. This is not about perks — it’s about reciprocity and weaving you into the very circle you’re helping make possible.
Support Levels
🌱 Seed — $10/month (Root Nourishers)
You help keep the roots alive — small, steady support that sustains the foundation of this work.
🌸 Each month you’ll receive a short reflection, blessing, or ancestor story — a reminder of what your support is carrying.
🌿 Grove — $25/month (Circle Holders)
You help the work branch out and reach more people, especially young people and working-class communities.
🌸 Monthly reflection/blessing.
🌸 Behind-the-scenes glimpses of gatherings, altars, or land tending.
🌸 Invitation to one Quarterly Donor Circle (Zoom) — a short guided ancestor/embodied practice and a chance to be in conversation.
🌳 Forest — $50/month (Ecosystem Sustainers)
You sustain the whole ecosystem — ensuring that community healing circles and ancestor rituals remain freely available.
🌸 All Grove-tier offerings.
🌸 A yearly gift: choose a free ticket to one class OR sponsor a seat for someone else.
🌸 Your name (if you wish) honored in a gratitude ritual at a Moya gathering — held in community prayer.
🔥 Ancestor Seat — $100/month (Legacy Carriers) (Optional high tier)
For those who want to underwrite this work more deeply.
🌸 All Forest-tier offerings.
🌸 A yearly guided ancestor meditation session (group or 1:1, your choice).
🌸 Your support makes free community healing circles possible. I’ll honor you as a “Circle Keeper” in gratitude — by holding your name in prayer, or with a candle lit during circle (if you wish).
Closing
No matter the level, your support weaves you into the living mycelial network of Moya and Antara. You’re not “buying perks” — you’re becoming kin in sustaining this work so it can remain a gift in the world.
Together, we are not only tending to healing and conflict resolution — we are preparing for resilience in times of disaster, and planting the seeds of intentional community living that can carry us beyond survival into a future of belonging and repair.
With deep love,
Aarti
