Organizations, Teams and Leaders

See What’s Happening. Discover What’s Possible. Build What Comes Next.

Some organizational challenges aren't solved by another strategy deck. They require people to listen differently, understand what's actually happening, and discover a way forward together.

I work with organizations, teams, and leaders navigating change, complexity, conflict, and new possibilities. Through strategic inquiry, facilitation, organizational development, and experiential learning, I help people uncover capacities, strengthen relationships, and create practical ways forward that they can sustain themselves.

Ways to Work Together

DIRECTION & CHANGE

STRATEGIC PLANNING & ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE

Organizations sometimes reach a point where familiar approaches no longer work. The direction may be unclear, priorities may be competing, or the people involved may see the situation very differently.

I design and facilitate collaborative processes that help organizations understand what's actually happening, surface perspectives that may be missing, and develop a shared sense of direction.

Together, we move beyond simply creating a plan. We build the relationships, understanding, and internal capacity needed to put that direction into practice.

DIALOGUE & REPAIR

FACILITATION, CONFLICT & RESTORATIVE PROCESSES

When organizations face difficult conversations, competing perspectives, broken trust, or unresolved conflict, moving forward requires more than simply getting everyone into the same room.

I design and facilitate processes that create the conditions for honest dialogue, deeper listening, shared understanding, and meaningful accountability.

Drawing on restorative practices, systems thinking, and participatory facilitation, I help groups navigate complexity, address tensions, repair relationships where possible, and develop agreements that support healthier ways of working together.

PEOPLE & LEADERSHIP

TEAM & LEADERSHIP CONSULTING

Strong teams aren't built simply by bringing talented people together. They develop through trust, shared understanding, honest communication, and the ability to navigate differences constructively.

I design and facilitate learning experiences that help leaders and teams recognize their patterns, strengthen relationships, and discover more effective ways of working together.

Through experiential learning, reflection, dialogue, and practical experimentation, we develop the skills and collective capacity to navigate challenges, share leadership, and work with greater clarity and confidence.

INNOVATION & LEARNING

PROGRAM DESIGN, INNOVATION & LEARNING

Sometimes the work an organization needs to do doesn't fit into an existing program, structure, or way of operating. A new need is emerging, an old approach is no longer effective, or an idea has potential but hasn't yet taken shape.

I work with organizations to discover what's needed and design programs, initiatives, and learning experiences that respond to real people and real conditions.

Through listening, stakeholder engagement, collaborative design, and experimentation, I help bring new possibilities into form — from early exploration and concept development through implementation and refinement.

My focus is not simply on launching something new, but on building the relationships, systems, and internal capacity that allow the work to grow, evolve, and eventually belong to the people carrying it forward.

What Is Your Organization Navigating?

Every organization encounters moments when familiar ways of working no longer seem sufficient. Sometimes the challenge is clear. Other times, something isn't working, but no one quite knows why.

You don't need to have the problem fully defined before reaching out. Part of our work together is discovering what is actually happening and what might be possible.

You might be navigating…

A Crossroads

Your organization is growing, changing direction, or questioning what comes next. You need space to explore possibilities and find shared direction.

A Team That Isn't Working Well

Together Communication feels strained, responsibilities are unclear, or people are working alongside one another rather than together.

A Difficult Conversation

There is tension, disagreement, broken trust, or something important that hasn't been said. You need a thoughtful process for moving forward.

Leadership in Transition

New leaders are emerging, roles are shifting, or your organization needs to develop stronger, more distributed leadership.

An Idea That Hasn't Yet Taken Shape

You see a need or an opportunity, but don't yet know what kind of program, initiative, or structure would serve it best.

A Need to Reconnect With Purpose

Your organization has become so focused on keeping things running that there's little space to reflect, learn, or reconnect with why the work matters.

Whatever you're navigating, we begin by understanding what's happening — and build from there.

I don't begin with a predetermined solution. I begin by listening — to the people involved, the challenges they're experiencing, and the possibilities they may not yet see.

Every organization has its own history, culture, relationships, and ways of working. Understanding these dynamics is essential before deciding what needs to change.

My work brings together systems thinking, organizational development, experiential learning, and participatory facilitation. Depending on what's needed, we might engage in strategic conversations, leadership development, collaborative design, restorative dialogue, or practical experimentation.

Throughout the process, I pay attention not only to what an organization is trying to accomplish, but also to how people are working together to accomplish it.

The goal is to build something that lasts beyond my involvement — stronger relationships, clearer direction, shared ownership, and the capacity to continue learning and adapting.

How I Work with Organizations

Where To Begin

Every organization has its own story. Its people, history, relationships, strengths, and challenges all shape what is possible.

I don't arrive with a formula or assume that the presenting problem is the whole story. We begin by exploring what's happening, listening to different perspectives, and identifying where attention is most needed.

Sometimes that means clarifying direction. Sometimes it means strengthening relationships, navigating conflict, developing leadership, or bringing a new idea into being.

We begin where the need is most alive, and allow the work to take shape from there.

When the Path You Trusted Breaks Apart

Spiritual communities can become part of how we understand ourselves, our relationships, our practices, and our place in the world. When trust in a teacher, community, institution, or lineage breaks down, the rupture can reach far beyond the institution itself.

You may find yourself questioning what happened, what you still believe, which practices remain meaningful, who you are outside the community, or whether you can trust your own spiritual instincts again.

I offer private coaching for people navigating this territory — including people whose experience involves Shambhala or other Buddhist and spiritual communities.

This Work May Be A Fit If:

You’re looking for a space where you can bring the whole situation — not just one part of yourself.

You’re willing to look honestly at patterns, relationships, choices, and your own participation in what is happening.

You want support finding your own way forward rather than someone telling you what your life should look like.

You’re interested in bringing insight into practice — trying things, noticing what happens, and learning from your actual life.

You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what the problem is. We can begin with what is asking for your attention.

  • “I came into this workshop feeling disconnected and anxious. Aarti gave me simple tools to feel grounded again — and the sense that I’m not alone.” — K.S.

  • “Meeting my ancestral guide felt like finding a lost piece of myself. I carry their presence into daily life now.” — J.M.

  • “The 1:1 coaching sessions gave me clarity and support I didn’t know I needed. This was more than a class — it was a turning point.” — L.R.
