Why Root in Ancestral Connection?

We are living through upheaval — climate crisis, political division, and uncertainty about the future. Your ancestors endured their own storms of change. They knew how to adapt, protect, and care for what mattered most.

This series is an invitation to remember their wisdom and bring it forward — so you can find strength, clarity, and resilience in the present moment.

About the Facilitator

AARTI

I come to this work with a deep belief that healing is already waiting within us. My own journey with ancestral lineage healing began in a time of uncertainty, when I needed steadiness and belonging. What I found was that our ancestors are not just history — they are living sources of guidance and care.

For over a decade, I’ve woven together somatic practice, ritual, and restorative justice in communities across the country. My work is rooted in the body, carried by lineage, and always oriented toward collective repair. I’m not here as an expert with your answers, but as a guide who can hold space, share tools, and walk beside you.

When I’m not teaching or in ritual, you’ll likely find me on the land — listening to water, tending fire, or laughing with community. These are the practices that keep me resourced, and that I bring into the spaces we create together.
